Bilton Infant School is a nurturing, fun community school with a play-based approach to learning.
A note from Mrs Fawbert, Head of School:
I am bursting with pride and absolutely delighted to be able to share the news with you, that Bilton Infant School is no longer a ‘Requires Improvement’ School!
During the final week of the summer term, July 2026, we had our Ofsted Inspection. It was a chance for leaders, staff, Governors, the Local Authority, parents and the children to show the inspectors everything we have all worked so hard for and the journey of school improvement that has gone on over the last three years.
The inspection went extremely well and the Lead Inspector gave us the following verbal feedback:

We were thrilled with this feedback. Furthermore, the feedback via Ofsted’s Parent Questionnaire was phenomenal and when compared to other local schools, is a much higher %! (You can compare these for yourself: https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk/parent-view-results )
- 100% of parents stated that their child is happy at this school.
- 100% of parents stated that their child feels safe at this school.
- 100% of parents stated that this school makes sure its pupils are well-behaved.
- 100% of parents stated that when this school makes decisions, it has the child’s best interests at heart.
- 100% of parents stated that this school gives their child the right support to enable them to learn well.
- 100% of parents stated that they would recommend this school to another parent!
