Friends of Bilton Infant School (FoBIS) 

If you are the parent or carer of a child at Bilton Infant School,

you are automatically a member of FoBIS.

Our  aims

To bring the children of Bilton Infant School and their families together to have some fun.

To raise funds for the school to provide those extras that enrich our children's experiences.

Committee members get together about once or twice per term, to discuss planned events and future fundraising ideas. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Come along with family and friends to support our fantastic events throughout the year and help us reach our fundraising targets

Volunteering 

There is always something that needs doing and we rely on the support of a wonderful team of helpers to put on our events.

You could help on an event-by-event basis so it's a brilliant way for everyone to get involved.

Events are held during school hours, after school and in the evenings and just 30 minutes of your time would be a real help.

Do you have any specific skills/resources that you could offer for some of our social or fundraising events?  Are you a DJ, gardener, amazing face painter for example?

Pre-loved uniform

We support the school by offering preloved uniform through FOBIS and have stalls at various school events.

If you have good quality second hand uniform please consider donating it to FoBIS as it helps us provide an affordable uniform option, saves clothes from landfill and raises money to support the school.

Fundraising projects

We are developing our Wild Area further!

Having accessed a £9,000 grant to install a gazebo for outdoor learning we are seeking additional funds to help convert the gazebo into an outdoor classroom and develop the rest of the wild area with sensory features to promote wellbeing and support our curriculum.

We also are continuing to raise funds to contribute towards extra learning resources for the school and supporting fun activities for the school community.

Ways to help fundraising

Bag2School

We work with Bag2School to promote reuse of clothes & shoes with who we arrange collection of textiles from school on selected dates over the year. You get to clear out the wardrobe and support the circular economy and the school gets to benefit from funding based on the weight of what’s collected.
